I had to go to Leith this morning to the engraving shop. Despite it being a local holiday and the raffia accordingly much lighter, the section by St Mary’s Street was almost gridlocked.

It gave mt time to look up and see the ornate roof of one of the buildings.

As you will also see, the skies were blue and clear. Summer, of sorts, has returned. Belatedly but welcome. It made weeding in the afternoon a pleasant experience!
