Hard To Resist

I didn’t see any iris’s today and no one offered to allow me to take a shot of their iris either, not even Toto who I visited today!! : )
I went to Kings Park this afternoon to see what I might find there but the parking area was totally full as they had closed the road where the overflow parking is usually available and after driving around and around for ages I had to just drive off in the end!! lol!!  
I ended up at Hyde Park again and chose a section of the park that I hadn’t really looked at before and found this incredible thing!!  
I’ve just put the image into google and it says that this is the pollen cone of the Zamia palm, I’ve never seen one before!! It was about 60cm long and really amazing looking and there were a few of them on the one palm!! I’ve put a shot of the whole palm in one of the collages in extras. 
Plus a few other things that caught my EYE (which does contain an iris!!: ).
