Canal Works

The silt trap at the inlet of the canal is full again. The flood prevention and the developments around Pock have both lead to an increase in beck running slower on average and the surges of silt laden water at other times .This is the second time it is been cleared in the last ten years or so, compared with the previous twenty or so.
