Wearing Green today

I knew where I could find a big patch of wild carrot so headed across the fields in the hope of getting a few pictures of it.  What I hadn't expected was the breeze which totally scuppered any attempts to photograph it in the wild.  I did snip a few seedheads off and brought them home.

In anticipation of my tyres failing the MOT next week I've had a chap come to the house to replace both front tyres.  So much easier than going to one of the garages.

This common shield bug has been hanging around the garden furniture for a couple of days and likes to curl up in the sun.   At first it got a bit narky and would scurry off but eventually it came back and posed nicely.

I also spent a bit of time with one of the tiny jumping spiders and managed to get a not perfect shot of it facing me.  See extra.

Is anyone watching the strange BBC thriller called Nightsleeper?  I'm not sure whether it's supposed to be deadly serious or quietly comic, but I am enjoying it (unlike JJ).
