The accidental finding

One line good, two lines bad

No, we are not talking about bingo!

Got up today at 7, unloaded the dishwasher, sorted the cat tray, made tea for myself and CleanSteve, looked at the coffee machine and wondered....I even had breakfast. I was going to go back to work today, from home.

Sadly, the feelings of being ok did not last longer than 45 minutes. At some point I decided to do another CoVid test, and yes, it's positive. I cancelled all my events/clients for the day and went back to bed. Since then I have slept a lot , which is good, because waking involves having a tummy ache and feeling nauseous. I don't remember having this symptom before. Ah well, new variant, new symptoms. I'm trying to look up why variant XEC is different, in case that's what I've got, but most of the info is hidden behind pay wallls.

When I last had CoVid, you had to tell the Government, and everything! Not any more. I just stay in bed now. CleanSteve went out and came back with some Beecham's pills that help the tummy ache, but weirdly not the nasal congestion. It is a relief not to think I am about to be sick.

I tried the very beautiful jigsaw, which I bought when s friend and I went to Buscot Park a couple of years ago, but I haven't got very far. May try a podcast now. As my elder sister TML says, it is ok just to sleep.

I've seen a young fox in our garden both today and yesterday. It has a damaged tail.
