Gorgeous day

Picked up the grandson at 7:30 and it was really cold. It warmed up and by the time we got to Belton House the sun was out and it was warm enough for no jackets. Had so much fun riding around the garden, then lunch in the sun and session in the kids play den. He was moving soft squares from one area to another and we realised too late he was building steps to get onto a ledge, which resulted in me having to climb through a tube to get him down.
His daddy came home today so he went home at 4 with a red bump on his forehead as he tripped on the way to the car. I felt so bad about it.
Did an upgrade to the operating system on my laptop, which took an age and then two backups failed, all done now.
