A day in the life

Lund

On my way home I stopped by in my old home-village, in the real countryside of Skåne. My old home and birthplace has recently been sold so I went to see if anything had happened to it. The last owner didn't keep it well, I though. The exterior of the house was badly taken care of, not to mention the garden. I was a bit disappointed to find that it looked more or less the same. Some things were newly painted but the overall sight is still quite depressing I think. (extra)

After attending to my parents grave-place and having lunch in the combined restaurant/food-shop in the village, I went to the city of Lund to meet a friend. In Lund, I got a message saying that she unfortunately  couldn't make it, due to unforeseen events at her job. Instead, I had a nice cup of coffee and a homemade ice-cream before hitting the three hour drive on the E22, leading straight home. The main showing the view from the ice-cream shop of the street leading to the cathedral with its new roof.
