Iris

Today’s challenge struck me as impossible (for me that is), so after all the days commitments I headed down to Risley Moss an hour or so before it closed. A warm sunny day had the red darter dragonflies out and resting on the wooden rails of the mini mere boardwalk. I love the huge compound eyes of dragonflies (extra).

Before sorting my dinner out (without a kitchen every meal is a challenge), I decided on an experiment. Could I take a focussed selfie of the iris of my eye. To my surprise - I can, it’s not impossible.
