How Green is your Halfpenny?
Wolverhampton Airport was called Halfpenny Green when I learned to fly there in 1971 on a RN Flying Scholarship. Before that it was called RAF Bobbington. I lived for four weeks in the building on the left.
I was there to audit a helicopter company - long, hot day that started at 0500 and I wasn't home until late
