Crane Fly. Leica-Lumix Macro-Elmarit 45mm

Today is one of those utterly breathless, perfect early Fall days, of which we get about three per year in Boston.  We headed out for breakfast on the balcony, as we're both home today.
Sheltering inside the umbrella was a Crane Fly, large and harmless.  This was clearly a job for the Macro-Elmarit.  I had to focus manually to get the bits I wanted sharp, since the auto-focus kept going for the fabric.  My only regret was that I couldn't photograph from the head end;  I was scared it would take flight if I tried to move things around.  So we have the south end of a north-bound Crane Fly perspective, but the gossamer-thin wings are well presented.
