A game bird

About half a dozen of these birds visited our front drive today, but so far I've failed to identify them. (The picture isn't terribly good.) I did wonder if they were female pheasants, but the markings don't seem quite right. Maybe a partridge of some sort? Certainly a game bird of some kind.

Sunny but not very warm today. Saw the osteopath for further neck and shoulder treatment. It was lovely, so was surprised to get a sudden migraine aura on the way home. It did turn into a headache this time, despite my taking tablets. Oh well. Can't win them all!
