A Second Flowering

I noticed today that my ceanothus shrub is flowering for a second time this year, the first time I've noticed this. To be honest neither flowering was as strong as it normally is. I walked into town first thing, then have been doing a lot of cutting back in the garden to fill up and compress my garden wheelie bin contents for collection tomorrow. At one point I heard the very welcome sound of geese flying overhead, returning for their winter stay. Everything seems a bit early going into Autumn this year. Then I wrote out my complaint to Premier Inn about my recent stay, only to realise that although I'd asked for an email address to complain to, the card I'd been given was for a website with an online form to fill out. So I filled it out and asked for an email address to send my full complaint to (which I'd drafted in Word just in case). I do hate companies that force you into choosing from a dropdown list what your complaint is about and how many characters long your complaint can be - and who label it as feedback rather than a complaint!!!
