Unplanned Events

Today was one of those days where no matter what I tried to do around work something happened that distracted me. Unplanned visitors which was lovely, time with my grandchildren - even better and to round off an unproductive day (in PhD terms) we are now heading off to the cabin for the weekend.
Forecast is amazing so the books are packed and I'll be working in the sunshine.
My little dog is as excited as me. As soon as she sees the red crate she knows what it means and adventure and fun lies ahead. We are dog sitting my daughters dog who remains unfazed and stretched out on the back seat.
