another wasted day

We drove to Sheffield today to meet a dog that the kennels thought would be perfect for us - a staffie, female, age 7, a bit smaller than Ziggy, with a sweet temperament. Unfortunately she snapped at him 3 times and went to bite him. He was quite shocked. So we came home. So fed up with this process now. I did ask if they had any other dogs we could see, and the answer was no as they’re all big boys and because we’d put medium sized on the form with a preference for a female apparently none of them were suitable. But they may have been suitable if they’d been allowed to meet….
I think that’s it for us.
