Garden day

Today we visited two gardens. First one was the National Botanic Garden of Wales. The main shows the interior of the great glasshouse which was designed by Norman Foster. First extra shows the exterior of the glasshouse with part of the sculpture trail. The tree roots are from a sustainably managed forest in Ghana and the artist Angela Palmer uses them to highlight the effects of deforestation. In the afternoon we went to Aberglasney Gardens. The second extra shows the Mansion and the Elizabethan Cloister Garden (more topiary!). Third is a closer view with some dahlias.

Wide for Wednesday but people hiding. Ta Bob.
