Late blossamer

Hot again so stayed in the shade weeding the flower bed which is over run with creeping buttercup, the ground is like dust which is unusual for my claggy soil.

I came across this strange sight down the bottom of the garden, the apple tree has started to blossom again on this branch even though the apples are already there.
Spooky!
