Extraction

I have had toothache for a few weeks, on and off and finally got an appointment at the dentist today. The X-ray suggested there might’ve been an abscess ( I’ve had a course of antibiotics)
The two options are extraction or root canal. I had an unsuccessful root canal on another tooth then ended up getting it out so I’m going straight to extraction.
Got to wait another 2 weeks though. I really feel NHS patients are being pushed out.
