Super moon….
…..disappointing photo.
I went to post a card to Judy in Australia and Sian came rushing out of Cup ‘n’ Crumb where she had been sitting and had spotted me walking up to the post box. Sian, Julian and Tammy were on their lunch break and I joined them for a tea and piece of school cake. I’d not seen Tammy since my last awful day at the school so it was lovely to see her again. It was short and sweet as they had to go back to work, but it was a lovely unexpected treat.
I sat outside in the sunshine reading until it was time to go to the Gateway. I had a cortisone injection in my knee. My good knee is now my bad knee. It was not a pleasant experience, but not as awful as I’d expected. They had run out of their usual local anaesthetic and I was told the one they were using would last much longer than the other. I’m still expecting some pain….but maybe I won’t have any (fingers crossed).
I hope that my previously good knee that is now my bad knee will once again become my good knee. My original bad knee was replaced and is now a good knee. Hopefully, the injection will ease the osteoarthritis and I’ll have two decent knees!
Getting older is rubbish!
