My Pot Cats (emergency blip)

I forgot to move the bottle of de-icer

Lovely day again  today as was on Tuesday. Did a bit of shopping at Lidl, and some washing, plus a few other jobs that needed catching up with.

Yesterday, Tuesday, because her wound was bleeding yet again, I rang the ward but they said go to A&E again so off we went.

There was a long queue waiting to be admitted but we got seen and sent off to wait in an area with chairs, after around half an hour a chap came for us and a lad who could hardly walk (no wheel chair offered poor kid) and another couple, we were taken to another waiting area, then waited another half an hour till they saw to the lad who they did take off to x-ray. then our turn, this very pleasant Jamaican guy who I think was the head bod took the dressing off and said that it had been bleeding but seemed to have stopped. he said there was no infection and it seemed to be healing OK, then he sent for this other Jamaican lad, who bathed it very gently, then applied a sterile pad and stuck it down with a sort of plaster that you peel the backing off and it leaves a fabric topping, but the head bod said it needed more padding so they got these thick pads, covered it, then proceeded to stick more plaster on, well have you ever wanted to just say "for goodness sake give it here, I can do a better job," lol They did get it on with a bit of a fight and a few wrinkles. Anyhow, up to press it's been OK even if its very sore and she has a stiff leg now.
I don't think it would dare to bleed after all that padding and if it did it will take a week to get through.
Anyway she goes for a check up all round on Friday afternoon when they will take the staples out and check the graft, fingers crossed it's taken or we have to start again. I don't think I can cope with any more, mentally and financially, Taxi fare is around £40 a round trip, and we recon over the last week or two we have spent about £240, I don't drive and even if I did finding a place to park is a no no except for a high rise car park some distance away, so what can you do.

Lets hope tomorrow is a nice day, I've a bit of dead heading to do.

Will catch up with you soon.
