non-roland photo!


I got some of him and his butterfly again because he's been eating it for three days and it amuses me greatly....

...but this photo took work so I have to blip it.

before I got my dSLR I used an olympus pointn'shoot, which has a very good macro mode, and as I havent a macro lens for the SLR...

I took my saturday flowers out for photos (my father in law gets me flowers every saturday, I've no clue why but it's fantastic)

and it was too bright and I could hardly see the lcd (or anything else for that matter) and the cam has serious parallax so viewfinder is never an option at 2cm away. so I said some bad words and just shot randomly and here is a reasonable result.

basically. I dont know how I managed for 2 years with that camera. I loved it so much but it doesnt work out for me now.
