Beverley

This morning we headed off to Beverley for a few hours. When we last visited the weather was awful but today was lovely and sunny. We had a good walk around the minster which is vast and quite spectacular.
We then had Yorkshire curd cake and drinks at a proper little coffee shop, followed by a browse of the quirky little shops.
After heading back to the lodge and some lunch we had a good walk around the site. Since we came in June they have built two new four bed, four bathroom lodges complete with hot tub, sauna and summer house and we wanted to have a little nose. I think they would be great for a short break but a little too small for eight people for any longer.
