Retirement!

I officially retired from the esteemed institution at the end of August. I’m still finishing off a couple of things but I’m stepping away. Tonight colleagues and friends gathered to wish me farewell! There was standing room only and I was quite overwhelmed to see so many! Lovely things were said, I may have shed a tear and I’ve returned home with bags of gifts! I’m not sure I’ve quite got my head around “being retired” but I’m looking forward to easing into it over the coming weeks…….and once a few meetings are out of the way!
