Quail Hollow Ranch County Park

I haven’t been here for years; today’s mini-hike was a gathering of retired University folks so it was a good excuse to get out. We turned back when the trail got too steep and rough, and meandered a bit on our own on the other paths. It was pleasant to be in the forest on an overcast day. We appreciated the darker sky — forecasts have been about rain, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen here. We’ve got at least another month before the rainy season starts.
