Splinter

When we got home from work this evening, Granny told us she had spent most of the morning at the pharmacy and doctors surgery with Ethan. He had been complaining of a sore foot - turns out he has a massive splinter in his heel which Granny couldn't get out. The pharmacist looked at it but was unable to remove it either and recommended he see a doctor. The doctor didn't have any further success but has given a cream to apply to help draw it out. Apparently Ethan was very apprehensive about anyone touching it cos it hurt, but was very brave too.
