Wednesday

A sunny but very chilly morning at 7am. Up with Fletch for a pre breakfast walk . 

It was quite warm later on and we went into Ambleside , walked round the park and into the town. Everywhere was busy . M bought a fleece jacket and as the cafes were full we got some Gregg's sausage rolls to eat alfresco.
The plan was then to go back to the hotel and go for a walk up through the woods  and over the field above. But the sky got very dark ( see extra) so we didnt go far before returning to the hotel. Of course the sun then came out again.

As we sat down for our meal the sun popped out yet again and we got a sunset.. photo taken through a rather dirty window
