Lichen Feather

Lichens & a feather caught on the copper beech bark.

There were lots of feathers on the ground at various points so there must be a birds of prey haunt.

Think this feather may have been a preening one gently flown from above branches & stuck to bark & lichen.

I like standing at this copper beech for a while.

The red roses looking over the Polish, Yugoslav & Czech soldiers graves were in flower & looking nice.

Small walk round Corstorphine Hill Cemetery which I've not been for a while, then picked up a bit of shopping then home.

Resting afternoon.

Still upset from yesterday.
