A stop for afternoon tea

We spent a glorious few hours at Crummock Water today and enjoyed lunch sitting by the lake. There were a few people around enjoying the heat wave and cooling off in the water. Yes Bonnie had a paddle too!

Afterwards we stopped off a few miles down the road at the tea room, well the sign said Open!! We had a drink and a piece of cake which was delicious. Once home my brother in law started to put a gate up for me, well one half, he'll finish the other half tomorrow. This is the view from where we were sitting.
