Knaresborough Railway Viaduct
It was really quite chilly this morning when I went out for a walk (8 o’clock) and I wished I had put a hat on! It was quite dark and my camera never ventured out of my bag.
Mrs madwill decided to take a trip to Knaresborough to visit a yarn shop that was a part of the North Yorkshire Yarn Trail. Last weekend while I was away she visited several others and she is on a mission to get to them all!!
While she was in the shop I walked along to the castle - two minutes away - and stopped to photograph the classic view of the railway viaduct. Fortunately the sun had come out by this time which made some nice reflections. Added an extra of the main remaining part of the castle.
We did have coffee while we were in town…so not a wasted trip.
Afternoon of grass cutting and weed strimming - and it was baking hot!!
