In November our church is holding its 137th annual sale to raise funds for its mission partners. I have had a stall at the sale for well over twenty years selling my greetings cards, and the money I take throughout the year in the Atrium café is added to my takings on the day.
Today I went to a planning meeting for this year’s sale, and the rest of the day has been spent clearing the decks in the craft room ready for bulk production. I’ve done a stock check on card and envelopes and found that I will need to put in an envelope order soon because I sell many packs of ten Christmas cards and envelopes so I get through them fast. (Fortunately I won’t need to have another lorry delivery of card from the paper merchant though, for some time to come!)
Other than that, Smithers and I have had our RSV vaccinations this afternoon. Hopefully any side effects will be mild because I need to be busy.
In the absence of any interesting photos today, I present you with proof that my hedgehogs are now regular visitors. I am guessing we have two, if not three, different hogs who enjoy visiting the wrencottage café every night. They scoff all the hedgehog food and insectivore food I put out, without fail, every night!
