BS’s Arklow Series

I have been meaning to do a miniature of one of the 7 photos in Brian’s recent series. I really loved these photos. The first one appeared on 7th June and final one on 20th August. My favourite one appeared on 29th July (mad max for seniors) and it shows the transition from the young flighty one on the scooter to the older flighty one on the mobility scooter. I tried to do it in miniature but I made a bags of it.

So this one appeared on 23rd July and I am blipping my effort. The canvas is 5x5 cms (about 2 inches) square drawn with black fine Rollerball pen.

As this is Ireland, it’s highly possible the sign reads No Cycling.

The start up of my Art Group has made me warmly enthusiastic about painting and this evening I washed my collection of paintbrushes which are rigid from last use (a good artist always washes their brushes after use although I suspect Old Man Bacon didn’t subscribe to that mantra).
