Thursday is full of hope

To the hospital again, this time to meet an oncologist and to hear results of brain and body scannings. There are no changes in images compared to previous ones, so the current cancer treatment is still working very well. What a relief!

This reflection on one of the hospital's walls when it's sunny always amazes me.

Thursdays are full of hope is a traditional Finnish saying. It's not known for a fact where that comes, but one guess is that people started to use the Finnish translation of John Steinbeck's novel Sweet Thursday: Torstai on toivoa täynnä (Thursday is full of hope).
