Uphill

Chester is an undeniably pretty city, mostly.
I am a fan of a lot of 20thC architecture, but you can’t help feeling that Chester planners had some major brain farts when they allowed buildings like the 1960s one on the left. It’s inside the historic city walls, which kind of makes it worse.
Thankfully they are slowly disappearing & being replaced by modern, but more sympathetic, buildings.
I still love the city though, especially the stroll along the river to the car park after my meeting.
