Hole

I spent quite a bit of time when I first moved in looking for the hole for the rotary washing line in the lawn. I had given up, and then we were sitting on the patio having lunch yesterday when Paul suddenly noticed a ring of metal in the lawn. On inspection, it was the missing hole - the moss had grown over it but with the hot weather, it had shrunk and died, leaving the metal ring visible.

I shan't use it now though - I've got a straight washing line up, which I prefer, but it might come in handy for a parasol!
