This is Gluten Free red lentil pasta.
Whilst I find most GF stuff a bit weird compared to the “real thing” as in bread etc, I think this pasta is actually tastier and healthier than standard white pasta. This is made from red lentil flour, but ordinary white pasta is made from refined white flour which I’ve always thought was just refined white stodge.
Each to his own but I’m happy to eat this. Whereas you can’t beat proper bread I think.
Neither of us eat much cake and are quite happy to have those based on almondy flourless mixes. Although I do like a bit of shortbread now and then.
In short, I don’t mind going along with Loosecanon’s necessary dietary changes myself rather than cooking two lots of things, but I draw the line at bread !
