Alpine coaster

To get some fresh air and exercise while waiting for the haar to lift, our son and I with the dogs (we still have a visitor) went up to Hillend to see the new attraction there.

Set alongside the artificial ski slope is the new Alpine Coaster. It opened just over a month ago and you can sit in a chair and control your descent down the track apparently up to 28mph.

We walked up the hill (not to the very top) and as the haar dissipated near us had some views over the cloud enshrouded city to Fife. On a sunnier (and warmer) day I might even try the ride!
