Between Burlesque

Today Mindy came home early to take Nina to soccer practice while I had some afternoon meetings.
In the evening we went to a burlesque show at a bar by the university. Unfortunately we ended up not being able to see the show very well from where we were seated but in between each act the hostess spoke about the history and politics of burlesque in the US. It was quite fascinating. The performers were creative with their costumes and very diverse in body type. We had some nice drinks, enjoyed ourselves, and learned something to boot.
