Bee Happy

I woke at 6.40 but still managed to be in the pool for 6.58! There was haar and the tops of the Pentlands were covered as was Arthur's Seat. However it worked out well as I didn't resent my  Teams meeting trying to navigate the future followed by a trio to Sainsbury's (forgot the Dreamies) and then a slow journey to feed Alfie, more temp traffic lights. The great distraction during the meeting was watching vans, and a v large pantechnicon ignore the road closed signed and then have to reverse back out the length of the street. Can't these men read?

By the time all these tasks were finished the haar and receded and the blue skies and warmth had returned so it was our in the garden with lunch and Richard Osman. I also borrowed #12 brown bin and cut the grass, not the only one in the street either. Had a delicious semi snooze and moved lounger for the final rays from the almost due west.

K Bee came over for aperos/aperitivos before she goes home to southern Italy on Saturday. Felt very European! It was getting dark and chilly after she left so the curtains were closed and the heating went on. I watched Olly Murs on WDYTYA. Fascinating if sad story about the fracturing of families caused by WW2.
