Janus In July (And Snow In Summer)
I stopped on the way to M&S and shot a scene that looked like a snowfall. Not sure what the plant is but its downy white seedheads had smothered everything in sight. I planned to post it.
When I got home the evening light was catching the chimney of the little boilerhouse and two crows or jackdaws were perched on the top. I caught them looking in opposite directions, they look like one bird. It made me think of the two-faced Roman god Janus who gives his name to January as he looks into the future and to the past.
