Orcas!

Full disclosure times two.  Firstly, this shot was taken last night, and secondly I did not take it.  As we were cruising at cocktail hour yesterday, a pod of Orcas was spotted off the starboard side, and our wonderful captain slowed the ship so that we could all get a glimpse of them.

I did not have my camera handy, but the photographer who got this shot kindly shared it.  I was so excited!  I'd been hoping to see Orcas in the wild (I'd only ever seen them at Sea World in Florida), and also these were the first whales we'd seen up close all trip, so a very wonderful thing to behold!

Today was (yet another) sea day, with nothing of note sighted.
