Just superb - as often is the case, the starter was a highlight - I had a salmon fishcake, and he had asparagus with an egg on top - both were superb. Got this by using the timer, with the camera balanced on the back of a chair.

We then went for a couple of walks in the surrounding countryside, in the light of the setting sun, including in the churchyard of St Chad's - a church we've been looking for. We knew it was there, but the roads have been so messed about for the M6 Toll, that it was hard to find.
