Busy Busy Busy

B and I walked on Kelling Heath this morning.  We had hoped to have a cuppa from the buffet on Weybourne Station but it was completely closed whilst they got it ready for the 1940s weekend which begins tomorrow.

We walked back to Kelling Holiday Village and had a coffee from the cafe there instead.  The holiday park breed a few red squirrels to assist with various conservation projects.  Within their enclosure there are some tree stumps loaded with lots of tasty goodies for them to eat and provide the perfect spot to focus on for a photo.  The squirrels were having none of it today and instead there seemed to be only one squirrel who was active and it was flying around the cage at top speed so impossible to catch a photo (especially trying to focus through the metal cage).  However, I managed to catch a brief glimpse of it pausing very briefly under some foliage to bury a hazelnut.

As the weather was rather gloomy while we were walking and there didn't seem to be any interesting trains running, this was the best I could do today, (apart from the rather pleasing trio of rosehips in the extras).
