Try again, lost my narrative

Another sunny day but the forecast is for change.
We had a lovely walk in the woods and Dina obviously found some mud, fortunately there is a river before we got back to the van.
Then I decided I would like a run in the sunshine. I planned a route that took me to my local river on the way home so I could do some water tests for Earthwatch Europe, fresh water watch. This is a large citizen science water quality monitoring programme set up to help protect the natural world. People are sampling their local water sources over the next 3 days.
Got home and thought it was time to clean out the wood burner, flue/chimney ready for the winter. While doing that bread was baking, what a lovely smell :-)
I then saw a delivery man walking my way so popped outside and was looking at the front garden when he arrived. He asked if I was waiting for him, I replied I was trying to decide what to do with the garden but that I preferred to go running or walking the dogs. He replied "do what makes you happy" and that he had just been listening to a song on the radio that has a line "Nobody's promised tomorrow". Funny how strangers can suddenly make you feel ok :-)
