September Bush

Mrs Catspaw always refers to this golden Caryopteris x clandonensis cultivar in our back garden as our 'September Bush', as this is the month when it's really at its best.

Today its luscious blue flowers were attracting large numbers of Common Carder Bumblebees (Bombus pascuorum) with their prominent ginger hairs on the thorax.
