Sunset over Cromer
The day started with a visit to my neighbours to see what they'd managed to catch in their moth trap, but it was hardly anything unfortunately. As I walked home at 8:15 the plant nursery was delivering the six bags of manure that I ordered at 3:15 yesterday afternoon - what good service is that!. After breakfast I changed into my scruffs and moved five of the bags into the back garden, had a final dig over the small bed I cleared the other day, then added a bag of compost and forked it in. After a shower, I met G for a walk at Kelling Heath. We were hoping for a cuppa at Weybourne Station, but it was closed as they prepared for the mega busy 1940's weekend tomorrow. So we walked back to the holiday village for a cuppa there. This afternoon the cloud covering North Norfolk for the last few days finally cleared and so I sat in the garden in the sun reading. It was so lovely I decided to go for a walk on the beach at Cromer as the sun was setting, it was so lovely. A pinky sky, but not a full red sunset. A lovely day.
