Wound up in Wexford

Culture Night

Another sunny day.

We had to go into Waterford early, for a hospital appointment.  We left one of our landscapers, Willy, pottering - basically just tidying up a bit, waiting for Joe to arrive with a trailer load of hay cut from a local meadow area (actually a graveyard, apparently).  Joe still hadn't arrived when we got back some 4 hours later.

He did eventually arrive, and he then set to pulling up the rest of the hedge roots with his digger, whilst Willy spread the hay on our meadow area.  The idea is that the hay is full of seeds, thereby seeding our meadow with a good variety of local plants.

In the early evening we went into Wexford, where I was playing, with the HFC Band, a short concert for Culture Night.  The final number was Copacabana, and these dancers performed alongside.  You can't see much of us on the photo, but we're there, behind!  In extras, another photo without the dancers.

Credit to W for the photos.
