Saturday 21st September 2024... parkrunday

Back at Sirromet parkrun this week... It really is my chill out place amongst nature... Rick was RD today and he likes it when I come to be timekeeper which I don't mind, others apparently like that I don't mind being timekeeper because they always seem to put me in that role... Today I said that if anyone ever wants to be timekeeper, I'm happy to swap to a different role, but they said no one else wants to do it... Here's a Wallaby with a Joey in her pouch... We also had a pair of Wallabies mating... Sirromet parkrun is held on private land, it's actually a vineyard... The tower of sticks in the background is being created for the Burning of the Vines which is a French tradition marking the end of the harvest and the pruning of the vines...
