What Large Eyes You Have, Bunny

Prey animals have a very distinct eye design. Their eyes are usually very large and dark in color with horizontal pupils and are situated on the side of the head.This gives them a wider field of vision which helps them see predators sneaking up on them. Predators typically have smaller eyes that are often lighter in color with vertical pupils.Their eyes are located in the front of the face, allowing them excellent depth perception. And if you were wondering, yes, we humans have 'predator eyes'.
