Swede
I think these cyclamen are holding the fence post up. It's needed replacing for years but is surprisingly stubborn and won't come out.
I had a fairly hard and slow Parkrun this morning. The first lap was ok but it all went a bit Pete Tong from there and it's fair to say I was a way off my improving times before I went away. It's the local my club's annual 5 mile trail race in a couple of weeks, I need to get a bit better for that (open to all, if anyone is near by).
Himself and the girls went off to the football just as I was getting home so after breakfast I went up to the allotment. It was a bit warm to be digging potatoes and swedes but they needed to come up. Tomorrow's job is to cook, mash and freeze the swede and make the last of the sauces from this year's tomatoes. Then its on to the winter veg. Yum.
I'm heading into my local town to meet Himself and No.2 for a beer, and probably a curry, now. Saturday night traditions are strong!
