Recycling

We had a few bits and pieces that we wanted to dispose of and loaded them into the car to take them to the recycling centre that we pass while returning the grandchildren to their parents after their sleepover. 

There's a new system now in that you can't just turn up, drive in and deposit your rubbish.  You have to phone them and request a slot and take your rubbish along at that time.  I was quite impressed by the system as it cuts down on waiting in a queue for ages if it's busy.  It was very efficient and I was impressed by how clean and tidy the site was due to plenty of staff working to keep it clean and tidy. 
It's not officially Silly Saturday as it's not the first Saturday of the month, but  I took this silly blip.  I don't know if the objects were taken from the skips or whether they were bought for the purpose, but there are several fun characters along the sides of the paths.
