40's Weekend

It's the 40's Weekend on the railway and the first day was blessed with glorious sunshine, unlike the forecast for tomorrow.  We decided not to go on the railway itself as we can do that anytime, and today it would have cost £60 for two of us, with no member discount.  Instead, we got the bus over to Sheringham where the town had really got into the spirit with music, vintage cars and buses, and stalls selling 40's sweets.

There were several old buses running Park and Ride services and this old London bus was one of them.  I've added an extra; another old bus and a couple of shots from around the town.  A 'Spiv' having an afternoon tea, and American sailors leading a dance routine.  All good fun!
